He graduated with honours from the Technion Medical School in Israel and completed his residency and specialist training in the Department of Obstetrics and Gynaecology at Bnai-Zion Hospital, Haifa, Israel. Throughout his undergraduate and postgraduate medical studies, Dr Barak was the recipient of numerous academic awards and scholarships.
